Joseph A. Pinto

author of horror & poetic prose

Well I’m participating in THE DAY THE SUN STOPPED SHINING BLOG TOUR 2011 from December 26 through December 31, and I’ll be honest, I don’t have a damn clue what I’m doing 😉 .  I suppose that’s what I get for opening my big mouth when I’m already juggling Mr. Mom & business owner duties, in addition to my own super-secret writing endeavors.  But not having a clue is one thing – being clueless, however, is entirely something else.  So for the benefit of all the hard-working & diligent writers knocking their holiday stockings off for this blog tour, don’t worry.  I won’t let you down.  In the end, it will all come together.

So here’s what’s on tap.  As mentioned in one of my previous posts Something, Nothing, Everything, the tour will be of an apocalyptic theme.  So slam the eggnog down your throat cause honey, who knows how much time you have left on this earth after that.  I’ll be presenting you, written especially for the blog tour, my own take on this apocalyptic theme (a flash fiction piece, yet untitled).  Funny…I’ve never been a fan of “end of world” scenarios, whether be it fiction or film, so I’ll offer my own spin on things.  Hold your breath & wait til next week, kiddies.

But there’s more.

How much more?

Well I’ll tell you!

I’ll be mailing signed copies of Flowers for Evelene and Dusk and Summer to some lucky readers.  As long as the world doesn’t end before then, you’ll learn exactly how to get yours…though I’m not going to tell you just yet 😉 .

But there’s more.

How much more?

Well I’ll tell you!

For Iphone users, I’ll be giving you an opportunity to have some FaceTime with me.  Thaaaat’s right, just you, your Iphone, & my ugly mug.  Not only will you be able to talk writing with me, not only will you be able to ask me anything in the world, but you’ll have your own private reading as I choose a yet unpublished short story & read it to you live.  (Sorry Skypers, but I’m not ready for you yet.  Give me time).

But there’s more.

How much more?

Well I’ll tell you!

I’ll be giving away a puppy.

Okay, not really.

But there’s more.

How much more?

Well I’ll tell you!

But I won’t.  Guess you need to hope the world stays intact until then….
