a dollar for every lie
he’s a lying prick
the dime in his pocket
not worth the penny fibs
he hands out so frivolously
still you listen to his sermons
on a nightly fare; dumbstruck
while moonlight glitters in your eyes.

So many people/scenarios/metaphors come to mind. I just can’t choose which one’s the best fit.
Excellent, I’m glad I could bring so many bad people/scenarios/metaphors to mind lol But seriously, thank you, Jane 🙂
Stemming from my wealth of experience with — pardon my French — shitty people. A dime a dozen, if you will.
The pleasure is all mine. 🙂
sounds like 45, all over again
