Time for my #whatpainsyouproject project.
To summarize, you privately share with me a pain or regret, and I do my best to find your words.
All anonymous. Too many of us hurt in silence…
‘he protects her little family always’
i’ve guided your fingers
as you dabbed away those tears;
flesh never absorbed them but spirit did.
i heard all the words
you were always too scared to say;
ears never filtered them but soul did.
you hold all the jewels
and your kingdom will sparkle when dark—
your legs may be weary for walking
but know i’ve been the one
carrying you all along.
a poem for an anonymous reader and their pain…
