Joseph A. Pinto

barflypoet & author of dark fiction

‘plague’

plague to my mind;
you’ve stolen every last
vestige once sterile

if by chance
a cure is found
i’d rather rot
than be rehabilitated
by your madness.

Wow. Yes! So very, very true. And I love how you expressed this. Read it five times. Better make it six….

It’s a very clinical write , in the sense of its precision. I mean , with creativity intact. Somehow , I feel what you write is like catharsis for you.

    1. Joseph Pinto says:

Thank you. Yes, very much so…

  4. Fiery says:

Wow. Sometimes your poems are like a hammer to the part of the brain that I ignore!

    1. Joseph Pinto says:

Oh darlin’, you ain’t read nothin’ yet! lol
But thank you…I often write my prose that way, because in essence, it is a hammer to my heart…

      1. Fiery says:

Haha! There’s the cowboy again… love it.

It is isn’t it?..my heart has different beats for different instinctive messages it’s trying to send me. I am learning to listen more these days.
        Probably

      2. Joseph Pinto says:

You always need to listen to your heart. And body…
